4/21/2026 – Writing Battles and Researching Cthullu

Good Morning Adventurers,

I’m going to keep it short and sweet today, been pretty busy with writing, work, and loosening myself back up after this past weekend’s rugby game. However, I still persist and I will never stop moving forward. Anyways, here is today’s weekly adventure update:

Writing Battle Contest – Submitted

Ok, lets begin and keep it short and sweet. In my last post, I had mentioned that I entered into another writing contest. Well, I want to proudly say that I have completed and submitted that story before the deadline. So now I wait in eager anticipation for them to make the announcement. On the site, Writing Battle, there is this whole countdown time that just taunts me while I wait.

So I won’t share that short story here yet but I can give you guys the writing prompt that I had selected in participating in this contest. Between the title of this post and the images that I shared, what kind of story do you think I wrote? I’ll admit that this one was a bit out of my wheelhouse but I had a bunch of fun writing it nonetheless.

Busy Life/Work

There were two things that I forgot to do last week: Post the update announcement for my weekly updates and the sketch art for Grim. Life had gotten really busy and they had slipped my mind. So on that front, I’ll have to just simply skip last weeks post for the update on instagram but I can still post the sketch work. So Keep an eye out for that as I play catch up. Apologies to those who were looking forward to the sketch art.

Commissioned A Book Cover

After doing some digging/research, I have finally found someone to commission for a book cover for Project: Dancing Night I also have a working title in the workshop right now for it as well. I’m not not really confident about it yet but there is still plenty of time to workshop it. The artist and I did talk about this and they are more than willing to work with me in case I do end up changing the title. So I’ll keep all of you guys updated as I work on that as well.

Short and sweet, like I said that I would keep it. I’ll do a better job at having a better update next week, this week, I have just been super busy and do not have the time to write everything down. So I promise to make next weeks a bit longer and more informative. So until next time Adventurers, have a blessed day.
