3/3/2026 – Plotting Around

Good Morning Adventurers,

So lets break down what has been accomplished this past week. Since my last update, I have been plotting away at several key items. If you have been following along since I have started these updates, then I hope that you enjoy what I have written down below in my coffee induced writing at the wee hours of the morning. Anyways, here’s what’s in store for today’s post.

Project Updates

So as of right now, I have only had two projects listed on this sight, Project: Knight and Project: Lightbringer. I have also alluded in my recent posts that I have been working on a third project but have yet to give it a name. The main problem is because I have struggled with coming up with a name for the project. However, after reviewing this new project, I can comfortably say that it is going to fall into the genre of Fantasy Romance. The plot will take place in the same world as Project: Knight. With that said though, I I thought of naming this new project Project: Paladin, however this just seemed to similar to the other project. So instead, I examined some of the key events that are happening in this new idea and decided to name the project off of the one scene that I am really looking forward to writing.

New Title – Project: Dancing Night

To give a little hint as to what I mean by this new project, there is a scene where the two main characters are doing some clue searching while a festival is happening around them. However, this festival is not a normal one and is filled with powerful magic that can influence one’s behavior. So in their search for answers, they get swept up in the magic and end up dancing through the night together. I am excited to eventually write this scene because it will be something new. It will be kinda like writing an action scene but instead of fighting, I will be writing about how the pair flows together. Plus, I love writing about little moments like this whenever I get the chance too.

Character Updates

Alright, so if you have ever visited any of my social media pages, you’d have seen that every once and a while I will post some sketches. One of those sketches happened to be that of a sword. Well, that sword, though a very crude drawing of one, is intended to be the great sword of the main character. He is the Eighth man created by the Passions mentioned in the poem that I had written back in January. I’m not going to mention much about him, but here are some of the cooler details that I think stand out about him right now.

The sword that he carries is nearly as long as he is tall and most, if not all, men can not use this sword. It was forged by the Passions for him and him alone to use. The blade itself is nothing special, not ornate and lacks any real ornament to its design, though a few runes may glow upon the blade when it is set afire to combat the darkness. He is also a giant among men, towering over most. Yet the land that our character will find himself in will challenge him in ways that he hasn’t been challenged with since the Fall of the Nine.

Our female protagonist is also someone who is an oddity, for one specific detail—she towers over majority of the men around her and none of them can match her skill with a weapon. In essence, I want her character to resemble someone who has accomplished much in her community but desires for more. This will create conflict within her as she battles the traditions and obligations that she has been taught all of her life with the desire for more.

So how are these two going to end up working alongside each other and maybe even fall in love? I’ll let you know more about that when I write about it later in future post.

Potential Commissions

Alright, so this part is not meant to be a long one, but rather a simple update about some Ideas that I’ve had in mind.

Recently, I have been reaching out to some artists about commissioning some artwork for both the characters that I have previously mentioned in this post, as well as a map that I have had drawn up. Both of these items would cost me a tiny piece of cash, but I think that they will be worth it in the long run to have done. However, since I have never done this before, I am taking my time in really examining the artists that I am looking at as well as their work.

Mainly, because I am trying to find artists that do not use AI. I want to support artists who are actively pursuing their passions and not someone who is trying to make a quick buck. Like writing, art takes time and effort, and AI takes away from those that are trying to turn their passion into a career. So, there may be in the future character art, and even further down the line a map that draws out the whole continent of the world that I will be working in.

Alright, I think I have said enough for this Adventure Update. So until next time, have a blessed day and continue seeking out adventure in everything that you do, Adventurer.
