So I was originally going to write this yesterday, but I got caught up trying to complete a poem that I have been working on for the last two weeks. However, that has been finished and I’ll be posting that to my Instagram account soon. I just need to review it. Ensure that I have my rhyme scheme down and the syllable count correct. This honestly was my first serious poem that I have worked on that wasn’t a free verse poem.

So as an update, and trying to select a day that I post on regularly, I have officially increased my Instagram follower account up to 10. I believe, though, that at least three of those may be bots. Either way, it helps increase the attention brought to the account. Along with that, I did get a bit of interaction with my “Lovers Last Grace” post. So that did bring me some happiness that some people enjoyed what they read.

Now, I don’t expect much to happen from these posts, but it does bring me joy that someone has enjoyed what I have written. Looking at both this websites trackers as well as Instagram’s Insight stats, I can’t really tell if they are finishing the rest of the story here but that doesn’t matter to me in the end. These are just simple baby steps that I am taking towards developing an online presence.

Along with that, I am slowly working out the plot line for a story/series that I can publish to either Kindle Unlimited or wherever I can submit it. I have so many stories within my skull that I want to share that I forget them after some time. So it is with this new project that I hope to complete, edit, re-write, edit again, then publish. That is my goal, and I am to have this one finished by the end of the year at the latest. The beginning of summer if I am really ambitious.
